Setting up a Local Network
Derbyshire Network is expanding rapidly across the county and new Networks are opening in new areas. Most Districts already have a Local Network, but there are a number still without – particularly in the North West Division.
If you live in one of these areas but are interested in joining Derbyshire Network, there are still ways you could get involved. We can put you in touch with your nearest Local Network and keep you informed about the numerous larger County and National Network events that take place throughout the year.
And if you want to take the initiative and set up a new Local Network – go for it! We will provide you with all the necessary support to get up and running. It may even be possible to apply for a Development Grant from the Scout Association.
We would be particularly interested to hear from former Explorer Scouts, District Explorer Scout Commissioners and District Commissioners that would like to get involved with, or set up a, Network.
Please contact the Derbyshire Network Commissioner for details
