Lynx Network
Fun, adventure and general social stuff for 18-25 year olds in the Derby area. Our programme includes a wide variety of activities, and there are loads of opportunities to take part in events all across the country and beyond, work towards gaining awards and activity qualifications, and much more.
With Network, you get out of it as much as you put in. We're flexible, so whether you want to come every week, once a month, just in term time whilst you're here at uni or in the holidays when you're back from uni somewhere else - you're welcome to join us.
Lynx Scout Network is run by the members, for the members - which means we do more or less what we want to do! Typically that means a bit of climbing, sailing, archery, nights out, camping, pub quizzes, day trips, hiking, canoeing, tea tasting, fire lighting, building extravagant pioneering structures, raft building, fundraising, kayaking, equipment/HQ maintenance, etc etc.
You name it, we've probably either done it or would consider doing so! (Within reason and the rules of The Scout Association of course!)
Lynx Network normally meet at Lynx HQ, off Shepherd Street in Littleover on a Tuesday evening, but time and location sometimes varies depending on the activity. If you are interested in coming along to a Lynx Network activity, please get in touch.
