Event Details
Dates
The provisional dates for the event are 6th-13th August 2011 camping at the Kandersteg International Scout Centre in Switzerland. There will also be a day or so of coach travel either end.
Travel Plans
We have decided to go using the train. This will save us a little on transport, and will cut the overall journey time many hours. Who would rather spend 24 hours on a sweaty coach, rather than 19 hours on 6 different trains, cutting through the brilliant scenery on the way to Switzerland??!! The train changes will also break up the travel for us, and give us many opportunities to buy food and drink, and have decent toilets.
